Your chargers, free: one property and up to 5 charging stations at $0, with no end date.
Live status: see each charger’s status and follow every charging session as it happens.
Usage reports: energy used per session and per month, so you know what home charging uses.
A card or the app: start a charge with an RFID card or the app, so only your household can use the charger.
Any OCPP charger: AC or DC, from 60+ charger brands, on OCPP 1.6J or 2.0.1.
Smart charging at home
Schedule charging for the hours when load is low, and use load management to share your home’s power across your chargers. Both come with the Forever Free plan.
Scheduled charging: plug in when you get home and set the time charging should start. It starts automatically at that time.
Time-of-Day scheduling: choose the hours of the day your chargers can charge, such as late at night when load is low.
A power limit for your home: set the most power your chargers can draw together. In India, the limit can be your home’s sanctioned load.
Power shared across your chargers: when more than one car charges, your home’s power is shared between your chargers, up to the 5 that Forever Free covers.
Which car charges first: give one car priority, or charge cars in the order they were plugged in (first in, first out).
Sharing by battery level: share power by each car’s battery level, so the car with the emptier battery gets more.
Want to sell charging? Use a paid plan
Forever Free is for your own charging only, so it can’t be used to sell charging to neighbours, residents or the public.
Starter plan: paid charging at up to 5 properties and 25 charging stations, for $50 a month.
Host chargers at a business: charging for guests, visitors or staff at hotels, highway stops and other properties.
Housing societies: shared chargers for residents, with each user billed for the energy they use.
Installing a home charger

Home EV charging: questions EV owners ask
Is YoCharge really free for home charging?
Yes. The Forever Free plan costs $0 and covers one property and up to 5 charging stations, for your own charging, on the YoCharge-branded platform.
Can I share my charger with neighbours and charge them for it?
Not on Forever Free. It is for an owner’s own charging only and can’t be used to sell charging. To offer paid charging, use the Starter plan at $50 a month or a white-label plan.
Which home chargers work with YoCharge?
Any OCPP charger, AC or DC, from 60+ charger brands. The charger needs an internet connection, such as Wi-Fi, mobile data or a wired network.
Can I schedule charging for off-peak hours?
Yes. Plug in when you get home, for example at 6 PM, and set the schedule for 2 AM, when load is low. Charging starts automatically at 2 AM, so the car is ready by morning. With Time-of-Day scheduling you can also choose the hours your chargers can charge.
Can I share power between two chargers at home?
Yes. Set a power limit for your home and YoCharge shares it across your chargers, up to the 5 that Forever Free covers. You choose which car charges first, by priority or in the order the cars were plugged in, or share power by battery level.
