EV fleet charging software
YoCharge is EV fleet charging software for companies that charge their own vehicles, or other fleets’ vehicles, at depots and hubs. It is fleet charging management software that connects every charger you own, controls how much power the depot draws, decides which drivers can charge, and bills every kWh to the right vehicle, driver or fleet.

Choose the charging model
Most fleets use more than one. Fleet EV charging software has to cover the depot, the hub and the road, and bill all three in one place.
Depot or dedicated chargers
Your chargers, your vehicles.
Connect the chargers at your depot or parking yard. Drivers start a session with the app or an RFID card, the depot stays inside its sanctioned load, and every kWh is recorded against a vehicle and a driver.
A charging hub for many fleets
Sell charging to other fleets.
Run one hub that several fleets share. Each fleet gets its own contract, tariff, wallet and invoice from the same chargers, so spare capacity between shifts and overnight becomes revenue.
Roaming charging on partner networks
When vehicles are away from the depot.
Your drivers charge on ChargeGrid partner networks, with 1000+ charging stations, using the same app or RFID card. Sessions come back over OCPI 2.2.1 through the ChargeGrid roaming hub, and the fleet gets one bill.
Charging for every kind of fleet
EV fleet charging looks different for a scooter rider, a bus depot and an intercity cab. The platform handles 2-wheelers through buses and trucks.
Last-mile delivery (2W and 3W)
Many small vehicles and riders changing shifts. Give each rider an RFID card and a charging limit, and see who charged what.
Logistics and trucks
High-power DC chargers and tight dispatch times. Schedule charging around departures and keep the depot inside its load.
Cab and ride-hail
Drivers top up between trips at the depot or on the road. Roaming on partner networks comes back on one bill.
Employee transport
Staff buses and cabs that charge overnight at an office or vendor depot, ready for the morning shift.
E-bus depots
Large DC chargers on one connection. Stagger overnight charging so every bus is ready without a grid upgrade.
Corporate fleets
Pool and executive cars charging at the workplace, with every session recorded against the vehicle and the user.
Intercity fleets
Charge at the depot at each end and on partner networks along the route, under one account.
What goes wrong at a fleet depot
The same problems come up in almost every fleet we talk to. Each has a fix in the software.
| Problem | What YoCharge does |
|---|---|
| Chargers sit idle while vehicles queue | See every charger live and schedule sessions so bays don’t sit empty. |
| The depot trips its sanctioned load | Dynamic load management caps the depot’s total draw and shares power across chargers. |
| Drivers charge off-shift or charge the wrong vehicle | App and RFID access, with limits per driver and per vehicle. |
| Energy costs never reconcile | Every kWh is tied to a vehicle, a driver and a fleet, with automated invoices. |
| A charger goes offline and nobody knows until morning | 24/7 alerts, and self-healing routines that fix up to 80% of operational problems remotely. |
| Chargers from different makers | OCPP 1.6J support across 60+ charger brands, so mixed depots run on one platform. |
What the software does at the charger
Fleet EV charger management software for the work that happens between plug-in and invoice.
Real-time monitoring and 24/7 alerts
Watch every charger and session live. Automated alerts catch faults around the clock, and self-healing routines fix up to 80% of operational problems remotely.
Load management and smart charging
Dynamic load management keeps the depot under its sanctioned load. Predictive load balancing and fleet charging schedules spread power across the night, with solar and wind integration where you have it.
Analytics and reports
Energy, sessions and spend by charger, vehicle, driver and fleet, with a virtual energy management system for real-time insight into consumption.
Any charger brand
OCPP 1.6J, which most installed chargers run, across 60+ charger brands. OCPP 2.1-ready.
Plug and charge (ISO 15118)Live
The vehicle identifies itself when it is plugged in and charging starts with no app or card.
Vehicle-to-grid (V2G)Live
Bidirectional energy flow between vehicles and the grid, so parked vehicles can send energy back when it is worth more.
Drivers & access
Decide who can charge, where, when and how much.
Shifts, trips, vehicle health and driver performance are fleet management, not charging. Our sister company YoMobility runs that: see EV fleet management software on YoMobility.
- App, RFID card or smart cardDrivers start and stop with one touch in the driver app, or tap a card at the charger.
- Limits per driver and per vehicleSet how much each driver or vehicle may charge, so a fleet card can’t charge a private car.
- Rules by site and timeAllow a driver only at their own depot, or only during their shift.
- Each driver’s charging and spendEvery session, kWh and amount is recorded against the driver and the vehicle.
Fleet billing
Bill your own fleet, or every fleet you charge, from the same chargers.
Running a hub on white-label? Your own drivers’ payments, including UPI and UBC in India, go straight to your account. Roaming revenue from third-party networks is collected by YoCharge and credited to you, as fast as T+2 from the session.
- Contracts per fleetSmart contract management lets you serve different fleets on different terms from the same infrastructure.
- Central walletFund one fleet wallet and allocate charging to drivers or vehicles.
- Discounted fleet tariffsSet fleet-specific tariffs alongside your public price.
- Automated invoicesInvoices with taxes for each fleet, and full accounting of revenue and energy. See payment and billing.
- UPI and other payment gatewaysIntegrated payments, including UPI in India.
- One bill for roamingSessions on partner networks come back on the fleet’s own bill.
Need the chargers too?
If you’re starting from an empty yard, we can arrange the hardware as part of your fleet charging solutions: charger hardware, installation and maintenance through our partner CPOs, on long-term build, operate and maintain contracts of up to 7 years. The depot runs on the same YoCharge software either way.

Fleet charging questions
What is fleet charging software?
Fleet charging software connects a fleet's chargers to one platform. It controls who can charge and how much, keeps the depot inside its power limit, tracks every session against a vehicle and driver, and handles billing. YoCharge does this for depots, shared hubs and roaming on partner networks.
Does it work with the chargers we already have?
Yes, if they speak OCPP. YoCharge supports OCPP 1.6J, which most installed chargers run, and is OCPP 2.1-ready. 60+ charger brands are already integrated.
Can I limit charging per driver or per vehicle?
Yes. Each driver or vehicle can have its own limit, site and time rules, and access by app, RFID card or smart card.
How do I stop the depot going over its sanctioned load?
Dynamic load management caps the depot's total draw and shares the available power across connected vehicles, so you avoid trips and costly grid upgrades.
Can our drivers charge away from the depot?
Yes. With roaming charging, drivers charge on ChargeGrid partner networks (1000+ charging stations) over OCPI 2.2.1, and the fleet gets one bill.
Can I sell spare depot capacity to other fleets?
Yes. Run the depot as a hub: each fleet gets its own contract, tariff, wallet and invoices, on the same chargers.
How is this different from fleet management software?
YoCharge covers what happens at the charger: access, power, sessions and billing. Running the vehicles themselves (trips, telematics, shifts, maintenance) is fleet management, which our sister company YoMobility provides.
Can you supply and install the depot chargers?
Yes. Charger hardware, installation and maintenance come through our partner CPOs, on long-term build, operate and maintain contracts of up to 7 years.
