Who we are

Built in Udaipur, trusted in 25+ countries

Yellow Haze was founded in 2018 by a team of IIT technocrats with a simple motto: make sustainability the practical choice. We began as a renewable energy company, helping homes, businesses and industry switch to solar power, then branched into biogas, compressed biogas and solar process heat. In 2021 we brought that experience to electric mobility and launched YoCharge: one platform that lets entrepreneurs and enterprises launch, operate and scale an EV charging business under their own brand, on chargers from any manufacturer.

Our journey

From solar rooftops to charging networks

2018
Yellow Haze is founded
A renewable energy company in Udaipur, Rajasthan, helping homes, businesses and industry switch to solar, then to biogas, compressed biogas and solar process heat.
2021
YoCharge goes live
We bring our clean-energy experience to electric mobility and launch YoCharge, a platform to help businesses take part in the EV transition.
2022
First chargers, first software
Our first charging site goes live at Bamboo Saa, a green hotel in Udaipur. We join the Shoonya zero-pollution mobility campaign by NITI Aayog and RMI India, and launch our charging management software and its white-label edition.
2023
A complete, open platform
Hardware-agnostic OCPP, OCPI 2.2.1 roaming, an open API, load management, Plug & Charge and payments, for charge point operators, utilities, oil & gas companies and eMobility service providers.
2024 – 2025
AI and the grid
Voltana.ai, AI energy-theft detection, a Virtual Power Plant module and an OCPI roaming hub. Our fleet work grows into YoMobility, we exhibit at GITEX Expand NorthStar 2025, and we are backed by Pontaq, the UK–India Innovation Fund.
Today
25+ countries
22 GWh+ delivered for 100+ charge point operator partners, on 6+ data centres across AWS, Google Cloud and Azure with 99% uptime.

B.Tech, IIT Roorkee. Before founding Yellow Haze in 2018, Jaideep worked with Mercedes-Benz, Sterlite Technologies and Hindustan Zinc. He leads YoCharge’s product and engineering.
