Main Features of the e VITARA
Suzuki’s launch of the e VITARA in Europe highlights its commitment to sustainable technology and performance. This electric SUV promises a modern driving experience that meets global standards for green mobility. Its main features include:
Advanced, Adventure-Driven Design
The e VITARA in Europe has a design that merges a BEV’s advanced look with an SUV’s strength. The theme, “High-Tech & Adventure,” highlights this advanced, adventurous design.
The exterior has large tires and a long wheelbase, adding to its adventurous look. Inside, the car has an integrated display, tough-looking panels, and a central console that supports the rugged theme.
Efficient BEV Powertrain
The e VITARA uses an efficient BEV powertrain. It features an eAxle that combines the motor and inverter. This powertrain is paired with lithium-iron-phosphate batteries that offer safety and reliability. Drivers experience quick acceleration from a stop and strong acceleration when overtaking.
Electric 4WD System “ALLGRIP-e”
The e VITARA includes Suzuki’s new electric 4WD system, “ALLGRIP-e.” This system uses two separate eAxles for the front and rear, providing powerful performance and excellent control.
With the Trail mode, the car can tackle rough terrain. The system applies brakes to spinning wheels, shifting power to the opposite tire for smooth movement.
HEARTECT-e Platform for BEVs
The e VITARA sits on the newly developed “HEARTECT-e” platform, designed specifically for battery electric vehicles. This platform offers a lightweight, strong structure with high-voltage protection.
The design also provides a spacious interior by eliminating underfloor members and maximizing battery space.
