Auto Expo 2025 Day 2 Updates: The Auto Expo 2025 continues to thrill car enthusiasts with amazing showcases and announcements. Day 2 brought a strong focus on electric SUVs, featuring impressive launches from brands like BYD, VinFast, and Hyundai.

India’s first solar-powered small EV also made its debut, while BMW revealed the prices for its latest SUV. Here are the top highlights from Auto Expo 2025 Day 2 Updates.

VinFast Debuts 5 New Models

VinFast, the Vietnamese EV manufacturer, showcased five new models: VF 3, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF e34. This marks VinFast’s first appearance in India.

While no models are currently on sale, VinFast is likely to launch the VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs later this year.

Isuzu D-Max Goes Electric

The all-electric Isuzu D-Max BEV concept made its debut at the Auto Expo 2025. This EV pickup features a 66.9 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor setup delivering 177 PS and 325 Nm.

It also sports a fresh look and design tailored for EV enthusiasts.

MG’s Impressive Lineup

MG unveiled three exciting models: the Majestor, iM 5 EV, and a strong-hybrid version of the Astor. The Majestor is MG’s new flagship SUV and will coexist with the Gloster.

The Astor is MG’s first strong-hybrid offering for the Indian market.

BYD Sealion 7 Debuts

The BYD Sealion 7, revealed at Auto Expo 2025, boasts an 82.56 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 567 km.

BYD has already started taking orders, and deliveries are set to begin on March 7, 2025.

India’s First Solar-Assisted EV: Vayve Eva

Vayve launched the Eva, India’s first solar-powered EV, priced at Rs 3.25 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom).

The Eva can add up to 10 km of range daily using solar panels, making it a revolutionary addition to the EV market.

Hyundai Ioniq 9 Showcased

Hyundai introduced the Ioniq 9, its global flagship EV, at the Auto Expo 2025. This EV features a 110.3 kWh battery pack, offering a range of up to 620 km.

Although Hyundai has not confirmed its India launch, experts estimate a starting price of Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom).

BMW and Mini Cooper Announcements

BMW launched the 2025 X3 SUV, priced at Rs 75.80 lakh. It features a new design and a modern interior.

Mini Cooper also revealed a new JCW Pack variant of its S model, priced at Rs 55.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e Showcased

Mahindra displayed the BE 6 and XEV 9e for the first time. Deliveries for both models will begin in March 2025, adding to Mahindra’s electric lineup.
