For charger manufacturers

Software for EV Charger Manufacturers

Run your chargers on a proven platform, and sell them with software your customers can use from day one.

Charge point manufacturers are judged on more than hardware. Buyers want to know which platform runs the charger, how it’s monitored and how drivers pay. YoCharge gives you the answer: a charging platform that already runs 60+ charger brands for charging networks in 25+ countries, available under your own brand.

  • OCPP 1.6J · 2.0.1 · 2.1-ready
  • 60+ charger brands
  • 50+ OCPP tests

Your chargers on a proven platform

Your chargers speak OCPP, the open protocol between a charger and its management platform. YoCharge runs any OCPP charger, AC or DC, and 60+ charger brands already run on it. Adding yours is a compatibility check, not a custom project.

Hardware-agnostic EV charging software

White-label software to bundle with your hardware

Sell every charger with a charging platform under your name. Your customers get:

  • A branded admin dashboard and web app for them and their partners.

  • White-label Android and iOS apps for their drivers.

  • A charging API to connect their own systems.

  • Payments and billing: per-kWh, per-minute or per-session tariffs, idle fees, wallets, RFID and tax-compliant invoices.

  • Load management: share a site’s power by priority, first-in-first-out or battery level.

  • Roaming: OCPI 2.2.1 roaming with other networks.

Your customers can also run your chargers on the YoCharge-branded platform instead. White-label EV charging software

How a new charger model comes on board

Every new charger model goes through the same four steps:

  1. Share the charger: the model, firmware version and OCPP version.

  2. We test it: our engineers run it through a checklist of 50+ tests of its OCPP behaviour, so issues show up before your customers’ rollouts, not after.

  3. Fix together: if a test shows a firmware gap, we share what we found so your team can fix it.

  4. Ship it: set the charger’s OCPP server address to YoCharge and it connects to the platform.

Not on OCPP yet? We can integrate proprietary chargers as a paid custom project. OCPP software for EV charging

Support the chargers you’ve sold, remotely

Once your chargers are in the field, the platform helps you and your customers keep them running:

Remote operations

  • Diagnostics and logs: check a charger’s status in real time and pull its logs.

  • Remote control: remote resets and connector unlocks without a site visit.

  • Firmware updates: push firmware updates over the air.

  • Access for your network: give distributors and service teams their own access.

  • Alerts: 24/7 issue detection, with self-healing that resolves up to 80% of operational problems remotely.

  • Deep integration: we also build custom, deep integrations with your chargers, so you see how they operate at production sites, with the errors and issues they hit in the field.

Launch in 7 days

A white-label platform for you or your customers takes 7 days on our side, once the payment gateway and app-store developer accounts are ready. Third-party steps, such as payment-gateway onboarding and Apple and Google app review, can stretch it to up to 6 weeks. The YoCharge-branded platform is live in a day.

Who your chargers reach through YoCharge

  • Charge point operators running networks of any size.

  • Installers who want a platform for the chargers they fit.

  • Property owners and fleets that charge on site.

Software for charger manufacturers: questions buyers ask

Why do charger manufacturers need charging software?

Buyers expect a charger to come with a platform for monitoring, payments and driver access. Bundling YoCharge means your chargers are ready to run, under your brand or ours.

Which OCPP versions does YoCharge support?

OCPP 1.6J and OCPP 2.0.1, and the platform is OCPP 2.1-ready. Chargers on different versions can run side by side.

How do you check that our charger works with YoCharge?

Our engineers run it through a checklist of 50+ tests of its OCPP behaviour before it goes live. In India, where 99%+ of public chargers run OCPP 1.6J, most chargers already speak the protocol the checklist covers.

Do you support AC and DC chargers?

Yes. YoCharge works with any OCPP charger, AC or DC.

Can we sell the software under our own brand?

Yes. White-label gives you and your customers a branded dashboard, web app, Android and iOS apps and a charging API.

Can we update charger firmware remotely?

Yes. Firmware updates, remote resets, connector unlocks and diagnostics all run from the platform.

What if our charger doesn’t support OCPP?

YoCharge connects chargers over OCPP 1.6J or later as standard. Proprietary chargers can be integrated as a paid custom project; ask us for a quote.
