On September 9, World EV Day, Tata Motors had formally announced the launch of Tiago EV. The Nexon EV and Tigor EV both utilize Ziptron technology, as does the Tiago EV. By the end of this month, the Tata Tiago EV, promoted as India’s most affordable electric vehicle, will make its formal debut on Indian roads.

This entails a 21.5 kWh and 165 kWh high energy density battery. In the case of the XPres-T, the power output is 41 hp and 105 Nm of torque. However, the Tiago EV may possibly receive the Tigor-a 26kWh lithium-ion battery, which is significantly more capable. This generates 75 horsepower and 170 Nm for the Tigor EV.

According to Tata Motors’ Managing Director of Passenger Vehicles and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, Shailesh Chandra, 20% of the company’s total domestic passenger vehicle sales are expected to come from electric vehicles in the next three years.
