Tata Motors, the Indian automotive giant, has achieved a remarkable milestone with its electric hatchback, the Tata Tiago EV. The company has achieved sales of 10,000 units of the Tiago EV. Within just four months of its launch in India, it has become the fastest EV to achieve this feat in the country.

Tata Motors announced today that it has sold 10,000 units of the Tata Tiago EV in just four months. The Tiago EV has become the fastest electric vehicle to achieve this milestone. Therefore, solidifying its position as a popular choice among Indian EV buyers. The car is now recognized as the fastest-booked EV in India. It achieved 10k bookings made within 24 hours of launch and a total of 20k bookings by December 2022.
Tata Tiago EV is one of the most affordable electric cars in India. Its starting ex-showroom price is Rs 8.69 lakh. It comes with two battery pack options, including a 24kWh battery pack that provides a range of up to 315 km and a 19.2kWh battery pack that offers a range of up to 257 km. The car has multiple features such as fully automatic climate control, projector headlamps and cruise control. Additional features include auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and an 8-speaker Harman infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
The Tiago EV is the first car in its category to offer telematics as a standard feature on all trims. The ZConnect app provides 45 connected car features, including remote AC ON/OFF with temperature setting, remote geo-fencing and car location tracking. It also features smartwatch connectivity, remote vehicle health diagnostics, real-time charge status, dynamic charger locator, and driving style analytics.
