The Xpres-T EV is the first car sold under the “Xpres” brand, which Tata Motors launched solely for fleet customers in July 2021. The price of Tata Xpres-T EV ranges between Rs. 9.54 Lakh and Rs. 10.64 Lakh in India. Tata Xpres-T EV is available in Pearlscent White colour which gives it an elegant and classy look.
Tata Xpres-T charging options
Tata Xpres-T comes with two charging options : Normal AC charging using 220 / 230 V AC single phase charger and Fast Charging option using DC Fast charger.
A standard 15 Ampere AC charging cable with an industrial socket is included with the XPRES-T EV. The AC charger can be easily installed at the user’s home or apartment building. A 15 amp industrial socket can be installed by any local electrician at their residences or any suitable area. The parking space and distance from the meter box will affect the installation cost. Depending on the environment and battery temperature, it takes roughly 11.5 hours to charge a battery from 0 to 100 % using the normal AC charger. The vehicle can be immediately plugged into any 15 amp outlet or with an adaptor, into a 3-pin domestic or industrial outlet.
Commercial Xpres-T users can also have EV fast chargers installed at their workplaces or parking spaces. Depending on the environment and battery temperature, it takes roughly 90 minutes and 110 minutes (for 16.5 kWh and 21.5 kWh respectively) to charge a battery from 0% to 80% using a DC fast charger.
Range
The Xpres-T electric car has two range options, 213 km and 165 km, for a high-energy density lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 215 kWh and 16.5 kWh (ARAI certified range under test conditions). It gives a maximum output of 30 kW at 4500 rpm and a maximum torque of 105 Nm at 2500 rpm.

The Xpres-T EV comes with dual airbags, ABS with EBD as standard across versions, a single-speed automatic transmission, and zero tailpipe emissions. It is available in two trim levels. High strength structure and a High Voltage safety system are features of the Xpres-T EV that guarantee passenger security. It has a seating capacity of 5 and boot space of 255 litres.
