In August 2022, the BYD e6 made its public premiere for private purchasers. The e6 has a single AC motor that generates 94 horsepower and 180 Nm of torque and is powered by a 71.87 kWh battery pack. Over 450 of BYD’s e6 electric MPVs have been delivered to private customers nationwide. Electric BYD e6 base model costs 29.15 lakh rupees. Three colors are available for the BYD e6, including Doctor Black, Crystal White, and Blue. The battery comes with a 8 year or 5 lakh km warranty and 3 year or 1.25 lakh km on the car.
BYD e6 charging options
A 60 kWh DC (CCS2) charger can charge the BYD E6 fully in 1.5 hours and 30% to 80% in 35 minutes. The electric vehicle requires 12 hours to fully charge using a 6.6kWh AC charger. The charging options of BYD e6 is tabulated below:

Range
The e6 has a single AC motor that generates 94 horsepower and 180 Nm of torque and is powered by a 71.87 kWh battery pack. The electric MPV’s claimed WLTP range is 415 kilometers, and 520 kilometers in city driving. Power is only applied to the front wheels.

Features
A single-slat chrome strip and a hexagonal grille with a honeycomb pattern are located on the front fascia. A pair of dual-pod headlamps are positioned on either side, and the bumper also has triangular black inserts on either side of it that are not equipped with fog lights. The MPV features a 10-inch rotatable touchscreen entertainment system, a 5-inch instrument panel, tilt- and telescopic-adjustable steering, two steering modes (comfort and soft), rear AC vents, EPB, and front seats that can be manually adjusted in six different ways.
The e6 has four airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, rear parking sensors, a rear view camera, HAC, HBA, TPMS, seatbelt reminders for every passenger, and a smart key among its safety features. Five people can be accommodated in the car.
