BYD Atto SUV was unveiled on October 11 and was available for booking for an amount of Rs. 10,000. It will start its delivery on January 2023. There are four color options for the Atto 3. They are Boulder Grey, Parkour Red, Ski White, and Surf Blue. It has a Five-Star EuroNCAP safety rating and is available in single transmission.
For the battery, the motor, and the motor controller, BYD provides warranties of 8 years or 1.6 lakh kilometers, as well as 8 years or 1.5 lakh kilometres, for the vehicle. The company also provides a free 3-year 4G data subscription, a free 6-year roadside assistance plan, and six free maintenance services. The Atto 3 is a 5-seater SUV with a boot enclosure that can hold up to 440 liters of cargo.
BYD Atto charging options
There are three charging options available for BYD Atto. A 7kW AC charger can recharge in about 10 hours, an 80kW DC charger can charge the battery from 0 to 80% in 50 minutes, and a 3kW AC portable charger. With a 3.3 kW power output, the Vehicle to Load function of the Atto 3 allows the battery pack to be used to power external electrical equipment.
Range
The 60.48 kWh Blade battery pack from BYD gives the Atto 3 a 521km range that has been approved by ARAI. It also features regenerative braking. The Atto 3’s front axle-mounted permanent magnet synchronous electric motor generates 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque, enabling the electric SUV to sprint from 0-100 kph in 7.3 seconds.

Design and Features
The Atto 3 has streamlined headlights with wing-shaped LED DRLs on either side of a silver front grille that has been blanked out. The trapezoid-shaped dual-tone bumper, the faux silver skid plate, and the BYD inscription on the grille are additional features at the front.In addition to being electrically adjustable, the wing mirrors can also be heated if necessary. Alloy 18-inch wheels support the Atto 3. The wraparound LED taillamps and roof spoiler at the back are both beautiful additions, and a light stripe connects them.
A 12.8-inch rotatable touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 5-inch digital instrument cluster, a 6-way powered driver seat, an 8-speaker audio system, a wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and keyless entry are among the additional features. Up to seven airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability program (ESP), advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), hill descent control, a 360-degree camera, and ISOFIX child-seat anchorages all contribute to passenger safety.
