Audi India has introduced ‘Charge my Audi’ on the myAudiConnect app, allowing Audi e-tron customers to conveniently access multiple electric vehicle charging partners through a single platform. The primary goal is to simplify the charging process and enhance customer convenience. With ‘Charge my Audi’, there is no longer a need for customers to download and manage multiple applications for different charging stations. By utilizing the myAudiConnect app, customers can effortlessly initiate the charging process while benefiting from automated identification and billing procedures that occur simultaneously.

Audi India Unveils ‘Charge my Audi’: A One-Stop Application for Multiple Charging Stations

Audi India has unveiled a new feature called ‘Charge my Audi’ on the myAudiConnect app, enabling Audi e-tron customers to access multiple electric vehicle charging partners through a single platform. The objective is to streamline the charging process and enhance customer convenience.

With the introduction of ‘Charge my Audi’, customers no longer need to download and manage multiple applications for different charging stations. Instead, they can utilize the myAudiConnect app to initiate the charging process, while automated identification and billing procedures occur simultaneously. Audi e-tron customers will benefit from complimentary charging across this network until August 2023.

The ‘Charge my Audi’ feature offers various functionalities to help customers efficiently plan their driving routes. They can identify charging stations along the way, check charging terminal availability, initiate and halt charging, and make payments through a single payment gateway. Presently, the application provides access to over 750 charge points for Audi e-tron owners, with plans for future network expansion.

Christian Cahn von Seelen, Executive Director Volkswagen Group Sales India and Member of the Board, expressed the group’s dedication to electric mobility and the continual development of the charging ecosystem. He emphasized that initiatives like ‘Charge my Audi’ enhance the overall practicality of owning electric vehicles and support the rising demand for luxury electric cars.

Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, highlighted that ‘Charge my Audi’ is an industry-first initiative designed to maximize customer convenience. He emphasized Audi’s commitment to building a comprehensive ecosystem since the introduction of the e-tron in India, supporting the transition to electric mobility.

In addition to the currently available e-tron models such as the Audi e-tron 50, Audi e-tron 55, Audi e-tron Sportback 55, Audi e-tron GT, and Audi RS e-tron GT, Audi India plans to launch the new Audi Q8 e-tron in the country later this year.

The introduction of ‘ChargemyAudi’ reflects Audi’s dedication to providing a seamless and user-friendly charging experience for e-tron customers. By simplifying the process and consolidating multiple charging partners into a single application, Audi aims to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in India, contributing to a more sustainable future.
